Tumpline Ministries is a Christ-centered, non-profit, wilderness adventure ministry.  We lead wilderness canoe & backpacking trips in the most remote regions of the U.S., Canada, Alaska, and Chile

What We Do: We provide all logistical support for wilderness canoe and backpacking trips.  This includes guides, cooks, canoes & equipment, meals and Biblically based devotional studies.

Our goal is to present the Gospel in a clear and understandable manner and to mentor young Christians in their walk with the Lord.  We also want to gain an appreciation of God's creation and just have fun!!

We specialize in leading wilderness adventures that fit your group's experience level. We can design a memorable trip for the young and inexperienced as well as a rigorous trip for the veteran adventurer. Our trips have led us to Alaska, Labrador, Manitoba, Ontario and even Patagonia Chile.

Why a wilderness trip?    First, we believe that wilderness trips set the stage for our youth to experience what the Apostle Paul spoke of in Romans Chapter 1, the "visible attributes of God being clearly seen" in nature. We have found that when a person gets away from the environment they are familiar with, they become open to the Gospel.  They are also away from the influences of the world. They have time to reflect. Many young people will not darken the door of a church but will jump at the chance for a wilderness trip.  For young believers, these trips can be a time for growth and renewal in the Lord.
